Moorgate Road refurbishment work now under way!
We are delighted to confirm that major refurbishment work has started at our hospital in Rotherham. During this time, the site will remain open as the work involves building an extension on the side of the building and will not directly affect daily life at the hospital.
During the refurbishment, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Given the degree of work taking place, and the covid-19 restrictions still in place, things may be a little more difficult for the next few months as we adapt to losing the side entrance to the practice. We do not anticipate client parking being affected but the building work will be quite obvious and may be a little loud and dusty at times.
We thank everyone in advance for bearing with us during this time!
An Exciting Future for the Springfield Veterinary Group
The work at Rotherham is due to complete by the end of the year. We should be able to start using the new extension in January 2021. It may seem a little way off but we are sure it will be worth the wait.
We are extending the hospital at the front to give us more consulting rooms, another waiting area, bigger, better patient accommodation and the addition of a CT scanner.
A CT scan shows a slice, or cross-section, of an animal’s body. The image shows bones, organs, and soft tissues more clearly than standard x-rays. It can also show a tumour’s shape, size, and location.
This extension means we will be able to offer more appointments and do more on site rather than referring our patients elsewhere. The extension was delayed by COVID-19 but we are delighted that it is finally happening!
