Shula Berg

Senior Veterinary Surgeon, Advanced Practitioner in General Small Animal Surgery

Practice: Rotherham

Shula graduated from Liverpool University in 2011 and joined Springfield Veterinary Group that August after seeing practice here as a student. She worked in all of the branches before settling at the Rotherham hospital in January 2013.

Shula has a particular interest in surgery; she especially enjoys performing laparoscopic (keyhole) procedures and repairing fractures. Shula completed a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in 2015, with a surgical bias. In 2016 she passed the final oral exam, so now holds an RCVS certificate in Small Animal General Surgery (CertAVP(GSAS)) and is recognised as an advanced practitioner in this subject. She is one of our senior vets and is responsible for the running of Rotherham and Wickersley surgeries.

Shula married in 2014 and lives with her husband, Lurcher named Seamus and two cats. Outside of work she enjoys going to the cinema, baking and walking the dog.
